反思:在平时的英语课堂中,特别是在课文教学环节中,学生们已经习惯了根据问题听录音再回答问题的教学模式,而且这些问题都是老师自己提出来的,长此以往,学生渐渐失去了学习的主动性。本节课在学习课文环节,我让学生先想象Peter妈妈可能会提那些问题,充分发挥学生的想象力,然后再来听录音,这样就充分激发了学生的学习积极性。另外,通过听获取问题的相关信息,从而自主解决问题,使学生有一定的成就感,对于文中不曾提到的问题,我让学生根据课文揣测,如 “ What is Peter good at?”有学生说: “ He’s good at singing.” 有学生说: “He’s good at making model planes.”说得有理有据,培养了学生的发散性思维。最后填表格进行描述环节,将这些信息综合,发展学生的语言综合应用能力。
