S1: What holiday is it?
T: It’s Dragon Boat Festival. You can also call it “Duan Wu Festival”
Ss: Learn to say “Dragon Boat Festival”
T: Any questions?
S2: When’s Dragon Boat Festival?
T: Who can answer?
S3: It’s in May.
T: But sometimes it’s in June. So we can say “it’s in May or June”
T: Ask again!
S4: What do people usually do at Dragon Boat Festival?
T: They usually watch /have the Dragon Boat races, eat rice dumplings.

教后反思:
在学习前面几个节日的时候,我是按照传统的教学方式:师问生答。但在学习“Dragon Boat Festival”这个节日时,我一改常规,让学生自己提问来引入节日的学习中,效果很好,学生都非常积极地提问,充分体现了学生的主体地位,学生成为了学习的主人,很好地调动了学生的学习积极性。值得一提的是,在教表示节日活动的词组时,可以让学生自己看图或联系自己的生活引出来,或者先教生词,如 “Dumplings”,在扫清了生词障碍后,学生应该能说出来的。在应用时可以联系学生的生活实际加以提问 “Did you… What did you do?”让学生学得更深刻。
