T: When it’s Children’s Day, you are very excited.

   Look at these people, they are excited, too.

 Can you ask some questions about this holidays?

S1: What holiday is it?

T: It’s Dragon Boat Festival. You can also call it “Duan Wu Festival”

Ss: Learn to say “Dragon Boat Festival”

T: Any questions?

S2: When’s Dragon Boat Festival?

T: Who can answer?

S3: It’s in May.

T: But sometimes it’s in June. So we can say “it’s in May or June”

T: Ask again!

S4: What do people usually do at Dragon Boat Festival?

T: They usually watch /have the Dragon Boat races, eat rice dumplings.

Ss: Learn to say these phrases.

教后反思：

在学习前面几个节日的时候，我是按照传统的教学方式：师问生答。但在学习“Dragon Boat Festival”这个节日时，我一改常规，让学生自己提问来引入节日的学习中，效果很好，学生都非常积极地提问，充分体现了学生的主体地位，学生成为了学习的主人，很好地调动了学生的学习积极性。值得一提的是，在教表示节日活动的词组时，可以让学生自己看图或联系自己的生活引出来，或者先教生词，如 “Dumplings”,在扫清了生词障碍后，学生应该能说出来的。在应用时可以联系学生的生活实际加以提问 “Did you… What did you do?”让学生学得更深刻。
